Is there like a new kind of STUPID going around? I'm so fucking mad right now I scrambled for 30+ seconds looking for the new journal entry button.

So, I'm "Youtubing" and checking out the videos where like people remake an opening of an anime with another anime. You know what I mean? Great example, KHR with Last Friends op: [link]

I catch something in the Related Videos so I go over and click it because I see my favorite character in the thumbnail. I watch it and it's the character and a character I'm assuming is the artist's own character. I usually disapprove public shows of OCs shipping with an anime character but I say, Okay it's decently drawn and not a pile of shit. Honest, it was a pretty good video, she drew everything, I was impressed because it takes a lot of work and patience to do. So I click around some more, and there's MORE.

Like, THEY DIDN'T STOP. Why is there so many?!?! DD8

Oh god IT DIDN'T STOP THERE, I went to a video where somewhere in the title "my new anime."

W-what? My new anime? Where I put my OCs and pair them with another licensed Anime's characters and then use a song I don't own?

I-I don't understand. D8

There was a lot of them. What was this new fad I asked myself. I looked at another and the artist (I use this term loosely) dare say "sneakily stole" so and so song.

You know, I understand there are people who aspire to make their anime and such (even though IT IS INCREDIBLY A LOT OF HARD WORK) but it's not cool doing it the wrong way where you take a licensed anime's characters and use other people's songs.

THERE ARE people who buy their own songs to use and create everything on their own! I applaud those kinds of people.

And you know what? To end it, I saw a video (can you call it that?) of Sakura with red and black colored on it with what looked like MS Paint. In the description was something about her character.

And then I saw in the Related Videos a thumbnail of Sasuke with red and black hair drawn over it. IT WAS EMO.
